About Saylor

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

Meghan Saylor Says

I was born in Charm City (Baltimore), where I grew up adventuring in the woods and the water. My parents paved the way for me to develop a strong work ethic and cultivate my curiosity by supporting my interest in music, dance, sports, community service and academic excellence. I remain passionately committed to these pursuits and incorporate them professionally and personally.

With over 10 years of experience as a marketing and sales leader, I am fortunate that my career has presented opportunities to develop additional expertise.  Operations, business development, training, talent development and event management to name a few. I have worked in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors as well as enterprise and startup environments. An autodidact by nature, I have a keen interest in the latest technologies and tools. I continue to seek opportunities where my acumen for solving complex problems with creative efficiency will make a positive impact.

Volunteerism and service play a huge role in my life. Whether it’s helping a friend write an effective résumé or a company develop a compelling brand strategy, I love to connect people and resources in meaningful ways. I’m an advocate for underdogs, outliers and free thinkers. Recently I served as the Vice President of Mentorship on the Colorado Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association (AMA). I feed my appetite for adventure as an Ambassador for Bold Betties, a Colorado-based startup for female adventurers. As a Betty, I spend my free time empowering women through adventure and travel.

I also enjoy speaking in the local community about various topics including leadership, risk, technology, digital marketing, career transition and other passion projects. Check out my spark talk, “Square Peg, Round Hole” at Ignite Denver 23.  I also enjoy mentoring and speak at events like Colorado AMA’s Personal Branding panel and the national Tech Jobs Tour event. Please visit the Causes page to learn more about my ties to the local, national and international communities.

I welcome opportunities to connect, so feel free to Contact me and let me know how I can help you.
